Remix Blue Wave Theory, Submit Your Own Samples & Pells

We’re excited to announce our new remix event - Ride the Wave. Mixters have the incredible opportunity to remix the prog-rock-surf-band Blue Wave Theory. These musicians have contributed extensive stems for four tracks to ccMixter. All stems were played live.

Mixters are encouraged to remix Blue Wave Theory and also contribute original pells and samples for others to remix along a theme of Riding the Wave.

Okay… so this was pretty much the most fun song to write and record. Blue Wave Theory’s incredible surf rock style is super inspiring. I wanted to go with a surfer theme, so I searched for ‘surfer slang.’ I found this awesome page—>http://www.surfing-waves.co... (you can use it for any weird words you’re not familiar with… I used as many as possible). When I found the term ‘hanging eleven,’ I had my theme. The song is about a dude who is surfing nude… so it’s a very silly song and I do hope you dig.
